Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and flautist piano over three years. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students as well as part-time employment. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy with her performance in comparison to her peers. Then she began to consider other options. Lennox started her professional career in 1976 as a member of the band Dragons Playground. But she quit before the band went to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. She was the vocalist for The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and the year 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her solo debut album Diva, which was released by 1992. The album had a tremendous success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox selected her favorites blues and soul from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four songs that were improvised by piano that Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. The first single from her debut album, Now I'm Letting You go... is the soundtrack to her exhibit of work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. They went on, through the 1980s to be the cult duo Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox launched a solo career with the release of her first album Diva with a variety of successful songs, such as Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa is a studio album, features covers of songs such as No More I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale.
