Anita Barone

Anita Barone is a versatile stage performer who's largely confined to TV sitcoms. Her first breakthrough in the medium after she married Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a series that aired on ABC between 1995 until 1996. Barone's debut on stage was when she was five in Detroit the city where her family relocated from St Louis. By age 23 Barone had performed in over 50 plays mostly for university productions and regional theaters. She played Juliet, a frightened young nun in "Agnes of God," Helen Keller, the protagonist in "Monday After the Miracle," as well as Juliet as well in "Romeo and Juliet." Her screen debut came in the form of a small part in "The Rozary Murders", a cameo in "Ricochet" along with leading in the romantic indie comedy "Just Friends" which premiered in 1996. Her first Hollywood role of note came in the stock company for "Carol and Company" (NBC, 1990-91), the ill-fated the effort to Carol Burnett to revive the comedy variety program. Barone also starred in the"Wounded Heart," a 1995 USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". Her return to sitcoms on the weekly air, co-starring in "Daddio", NBC 2000 along co-starring with Michael Chiklis. Anita Anita Anita
